While the list continues to discuss some monumental super project, I've got
some small ones I would appreciate assistance with so I can spend more of my
time coding, and allow people who want to get involved but don't have a lot
of skill yet a chance to do something.
The first project I'm looking for help with is a tool meant to help Sony
Laptop users configure/customize use of their fn keys. I have a rough GUI
sketch i can email to whomever wants to implement it / make it look good in
Glade.
The prerequisites that actually make the config tool work (patched version
of sony_acpi kernel module, and some other stuff) currently exist in bits
and pieces hosted in various locations, and needs a real package created.
I'm calling my tool fsfn-config and am currently targeting feisty, possibly
backport it later.
In conclusion, if you've never been involved before and would like to help
let me know.
