yep... do the autoremove as well, just to make sure everything is ok...
whoops forgot build essential, you probably have that already, but do both:
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get install build-essential
Then download the latest driver:
cd ~
wget http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com/rt2500-cvs-daily.tar.gz
Once you have that on your machine well continue:)
no need to post any screen data, unless you hit an error, then try and post
it all here.
