Most routers have the ability to offer separate SSIDs for each band so to switch you would simply select the other network name on your laptop network setup, however I notice that lately the thing seems to be offer both bands under a single SSID and let the router choose which band you use. Sounds like maybe what you have.<br /> <br /> You may want to look at the router setup to see if you can split the two bands apart.
