[Ubuntu-US-CA] iPod with iTunes Compatibility

I am not sure that is true entirely. The only time I have run into a problem is when I have had a song that I bought in iTunes.

Here is how I manage it. From the start I have bought CD's and "ripped" them to my HDD as MP3's. I manage all the tags and everything. It has worked fine until I bought one song on iTunes that I wanted and the database went south on me in Ubuntu. It got all scrambled.

Imagine that.

An iPod/iPhone cannot be synched without iTunes. Period. End of story.
