Hey Contacts!

Another fun week with the LoCo the council, we have worked on and
created a best practices document found at [1].

This document is subject to changes, and is the first point release in
what is sure to evolve over the years. These guidelines are a
reflection of what teams have done right, and we have distilled from
the teams that we see as the most active and stable these basic
points. Hopefully they can be of benefit to those who need some
guidance.

>From the Wiki:

The LoCo Council has drawn up this guide on Best Practices and
Guidelines for LoCo Teams to follow. This guide has been created to
help new teams set up and delegate tasks within the team and become
more involved in the Ubuntu Community. It will also help teams when it
is time for their Approval and Re Approval as they can show how they
operate and by having continuous reports it is easier for
applications.

We have broken the guide into three areas, what we would suggest teams
do on a Monthly basis, Cycle based and on a Long Term goal. This will
help you plan and set goals to work towards.

Feel free to poke any council member with questions or concerns
