I'll illustrate what it has to do with it:

1) The teacher asked her class how many of them used MS Windows on their
computers. Not really knowing what the distinction was between using MS
Windows on their computers and not doing so, but wanting to be liked by
the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny. The
teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again.
Little Johnny said, "Because Ubuntu doesn't force everybody to do things
the MS way."

2) The teacher asked her class how many of them used Ubuntu on their
computers. Not really knowing what Ubuntu was, but wanting to be liked by
the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny. The
teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again.
Little Johnny said, "Because I prefer $SOME_OTHER_DISTRO instead. With
GNU/Linux, there's something around for anybody's tastes."
