Some comments:

* please add old Ubuntu entries to the changelog;

* according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebianMaintainerField, the
Maintainer field in debian/{control,control.in} should be set to Ubuntu
Developers <ubuntu-devel-discuss at lists.ubuntu.com>;

* any reason you added i686 to architectures of dependencies in
debian/control? It is not in the list of allowed strings
(http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/footnotes.html#f71).

Looks good otherwise.
