Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

debian has fixed ftbfs with gcc 4.4 hence it can be synced again

Changelog since current lucid version 4.0-2ubuntu1:

cbedic (4.0-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Apply patch by Michael Bienia to fix FTBFS due to invalid conversion
    from const char* to char*.  Thanks to Michael Bienia, closes: #563534.
