Hi,

Except if it's a bug fixing only release, it will be hard to get it into
Karmic before release: you first have to find someone that is willing to
perform the merge (you, for example?), fulfill a FFe
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess), get the approval of 2
MOTU release team member, and got it sponsored.

Otherwise, it will be automatically synced from Debian in the next
version.

If you are willing to go through the full process, I can help you, but I
don't have the time to do it by myself.
