Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

Debian has applied colin watson's patch to fix ftbfs. So package can be 
synced again

  * Applied patch from Colin Watson <cjwatson at ubuntu.com>:
    Rename getline to get_line to avoid conflict with POSIX:2008.
