[Bug 332217] [NEW] package calls update-notifier even when it's not installed

You have been subscribed to a public bug by Brian Murray (brian-murray):

Binary package hint: connman

During installation the postinst script calls update-notifier and that
is a problem on minimal installations, where the package is not
installed. This means dpkg can't get the configuration done. So at best
this should be optional or there should be a dependency on update-
notifier.

For the first solution i included a debdiff.

BTW cool to see connman finally in a debian package :)
