You might mention to upstream that there are files like
src/modules/upnp/ssdpconnection.h that are derivatives of other works
and still carry the older copyright notice (as they should), but do not
contain the old licensing information.  See
http://kmess.sourcearchive.com/documentation/1.5/ssdpconnection_8h-
source.html.  Since it's all GPL, it's not a actual legal problem, but
if the old licensing statement would be retained too, it would make
things clearer.
