You have been subscribed to a public bug by Clément Lorteau (northern-lights):

Binary package hint: nautilus-clamscan

The package nautilus-clamscan-0.2.2-2, which was designed for debian
testing only, has been imported into Jaunty. The problem is that Debian
unstable and Ubuntu Jaunty require python nautilus extensions to be
installed in /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-2.0/python, while Debian
testing requires them to be installed in
/usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-1.0/python. The -2 revision has been
created to fix Debian testing for release and is not supposed to be used
on systems integrating newer nautilus versions.

In Jaunty, nautilus-clamscan.py being installed in the wrong directory,
the extension isn't loaded upon nautilus startup at all. Therefore,
nautilus-clamscan must be repackaged for Jaunty.

As i'm the upstream author of nautilus-clamscan and the maintainer of
the Debian package, I propose to do this modification.

** Affects: nautilus-clamscan (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
     Assignee: Clément Lorteau (northern-lights)
         Status: In Progress
