Hi,

Debian has gavl 1.1.0-2 but in Ubuntu, we only have 1.0.1. As this is a
required version for a package that I want to package, could you please
sync it?

It build fine in a jaunty pbuilder (see build log).
It also install fine:

rdepends of that lib:

libgavl0
Reverse Depends:
  libgavl0-dbgsym
  openmovieeditor
  libgavl-1.0-0

Openmovieeditor builds and run fine with this new library
