As what I gather from the Debian changelog they DID NOT apply Michael
Gernoth's patches. He worked very hard on resolving most of the issues
of Micropolis:

To see his fixes, please have a look at this git branch:

Thus I strongly suggest to use the sourcecode that I attached in my post
above for Ubuntu Jaunty.
