some of the games such as glest, open arena etc that comes with

so nothing that is going to be too demanding, my older dell 10v
can cope with the above so with ion 2 (assuming that it is
supported by nvidia drivers) should give better performance.

Yes I have one...have had it for about two months now, purchased
from Ebuyer.<br>
<br>
Mine came pre-installed with Linpus Linux which I quickly deleted
and installed Ubuntu 11.04.<br>

It works pretty much out of the box. You need to install the
proprietary nvidia driver and there is a quick fix for the shutdown
problem by blacklisting a particular wireless driver as follows:<br>
<br>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate;
color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-style:
normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing:
normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: -webkit-auto;
text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal;
widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing:
0px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 0px;
-webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none;
-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;
font-size: medium; "><span class="Apple-style-span"
style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Tahoma; font-size: 12px; ">place
"blacklist rt2800pci" at the bottom of
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf</span></span><br>
<br>
and reboot. You will need to initially switch off the unit by
holding the power button down for a few seconds but after you will
be able to reboot/shutdown without any problem.<br>
<br>
I am delighted with my little Revo, it runs on very low power and is
almost completely silent.<br>
<br>
It is perfect for everyday use and works great with multimedia by
virtue of the onboard nvidia ion graphics chip.<br>
<br>
If you require any further info Paul, please email me direct<br>
<br>
I can thoroughly recommend.<br>
<br>
regards,<br>
