I wonder if there's something about the most recent Ubuntu communication with wireless routers that has changed, as I have issues with my wife's D-Link that she was sent by Talk Talk.<br><br>It is absolutely fine on Windows, but on Ubuntu (10.10) it is virtually impossible to use the wireless, because it keeps dropping out every minute or two.<br>
<br>The other thing that it does is "lose contact" with the router. It is still (technically) "connected" [or at least the bar says so] but you can't ping it... like the route has disappeared, yet "netstat -nr" doesn't show anything changed.<br>
<br>This never used to happen on the previous version of Ubuntu, as far as I am aware.<br><br>Which makes me think that it's something in 10.10 that's created the issue. <br><br>Sean<br>
