Well, I'm in a bit of a hurry this week so haven't looked much - have
to say that finding the Gwibber config files is a pain in the neck,
locate didn't help me find the relevant files - I deleted the gwibber
folder in gconf without effect and it doesn't seem to have any profile
in /home. The only way to make it shut up is to uninstall it - I even
purged it but when I reinstalled it the corrupt profile was apparently
still there cos it opened up with all my accounts set up and still
randomly opening the account setup window.
I don't expect this kind of opacity from Ubuntu?
I am getting this as well; I don't know why, but it is extremely
annoying. Just started late this week.
I even tried ensuring all my account info was up to date and current,
so it didn't need to ask, but it didn't help.
FWIW, I am on Mint 9, a respin of Ubuntu, not the main thing.
