Hello all I am getting this every time I do an Update from Update Manager W: GPG error: <a href="http://ppa.launchpad.net">http://ppa.launchpad.net</a> intrepid Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 9BDB3D89CE49EC21 I have tried this: sudo gpg --keyserver <a href="http://keyserver.ubuntu.com">keyserver.ubuntu.com</a> --recv-keys 9BDB3D89CE49EC21 But only get:gpg: WARNING: unsafe ownership on configuration file `/home/cjm/.gnupg/gpg.conf' gpg: external program calls are disabled due to unsafe options file permissions gpg: keyserver communications error: general error gpg: keyserver receive failed: general error If I do it with out the sudo then the error is almost the same: gpg: WARNING: unsafe enclosing directory permissions on configuration file `/home/cjm/.gnupg/gpg.conf' gpg: external program calls are disabled due to unsafe options file permissions gpg: keyserver communications error: general error gpg: keyserver receive failed: general error I have done this also: sudo chown cjm:cjm /home/cjm/.gnupg/* But did not help. Please could you try and tell me how to solve this.
