</div>You should be able to do it within Ubuntu. Click on the System Menu on<br>
the top bar, select Administration and then USB Startup Disk Creator.<br>
You'll need to download the Xubuntu ISO (if you haven't already) and<br>
select it, then it should be able to create a bootable USB stick.<br>
However, it will also rely on support in the PCs BIOS to boot from USB.<br>
It might work, then again it might not (USB booting wasn't really<br>
included in BIOSes until about the Athlon XP/P4). Still you may be lucky.<br>
