 easiest way is probably to do the first step in Windows.<br><br>So, in Windows, move everything you want to keep off D onto C or<br>something. Then run Disk Manager (assuming you&#39;re using XP) - Start |<br>Run | diskmgmt.msc<br>
<br>Select the D drive - and make very very sure that it *IS* the D drive,<br>not the C drive - and delete it. Save the changes and reboot. Check<br>that Windows still boots and runs off C. So long as it&#39;s OK, reboot<br>

moving the disk into the PC (it just has media on it). If I were to plug the<br>drive into the PC and switch on, would it automount, or would it need adding<br>to /etc/fstab manually?<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Steve Garton<br>
