If you are installing from a boot CD you have burnt from a fresh download into a newly formatted partition,
it won't know about the old installation until it looks to configure

The pgp is Pretty Good Privacy, it's a way of encrypting stuff, to make<br>
sure you get a copy that hasn't been tampered with by a third party, in<br>
this case something to do with the distro realease list...<br>
