Hi I have just installed and started using 7.10 so far it is very good and easy to use. I am having a problem, I want to login as root so that I can change the permissions on a hard drive. I have set a root password but it refuses to recognise it.  Any help would be gratefully received. I have just migrated from Windows so am new to this. Regards Colum.
