I'm afraid that the whole assembler thing was too much for me... could never really get my head around it... as for machine code forget it... I was pretty impressed, though, with what some folks managed to get out of a 1k ZX81... that was efficient programming at its best... my favourite machine, though, has to have been my trusty BBC micro... what me and my Beeb couldn't do together wasn't worth doing ;-) Sean
