There is a Free Software gaming festival being organized by <a href="http://Nuxified.org">Nuxified.org</a>, <a href="http://Cluenet.org">Cluenet.org</a> and TuxProject.com in cooperation with various game communities under the name "Freedomware Gamefest 2007" which is meant to promote gaming with Free Software and Free operating systems like <a class="glossary-term" href="http://www.nuxified.org/glossary#term404"><acronym title="GNU: GNU's Not Unix">GNU</acronym></a>/Linux. It is an online gamefest consisted of multiple tournaments for multiple games. Which games will be played depends on the number of players registering to play a particular game, but some popular FPS games like Nexuiz, OpenArena and Tremulous are already being organized while other games like Armagetron Advanced and BZFlag are considered for inclusion as well.
