Assuming you can't boot in Windows and fix the improper shutdown issue, perhaps the key is to mount it from Gutsy with the older read-only driver?  However, that is only half a fix because, of course, you won't be able to write to it which makes it little more than a glorified CD.
<br><br>Personally if it was causing me sleepless nights, rather than get tireder and tireder I&#39;d be inclined to splash out and buy another 200GB drive, format it ext3 or some other sensible filesystem type, boot into Feisty Live, copy all the files over and then re-format the original one.&nbsp; In a day or so I&#39;d be over the crisis and able to find some more useless things to fret/lose sleep about.
