A search on "linux" as opposed to "kernel" in Synaptic returns than I have linux-386 2.6.15.25 installed. etc/apt/sources.list.d is empty - is this expected? This laptop was only ever Dapper. I wanted to install a Parallels trial but it can't find the kernel source. Why are there two version numbers one for the "kernel" and one for "linux" surely only one can be used at the same time?
