And Blackberry 10, which isn't even a version of Linux. (I have a

Android apps are essentially Java apps -- Android compatibility means 2 things:
[1] a sort of special JVM
[2] Google Play services, because sadly many apps require these.


I believe there is also an Android runtime for Windows Phone, but MS
is considering killing it or already has.
