Alan - at last got enough spare time to try this & I'm failing.
I get to cmake .. and get:
CMake Error
at /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:91
(MESSAGE):
Could NOT find Gettext (missing: GETTEXT_MSGMERGE_EXECUTABLE
  GETTEXT_MSGFMT_EXECUTABLE)
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:252
(_FPHSA_FAILURE_MESSAGE)
  /usr/share/cmake-2.8/Modules/FindGettext.cmake:46
(FIND_PACKAGE_HANDLE_STANDARD_ARGS)
  CMakeLists.txt:6 (find_package)

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

I see that further down the page someone mentions:
"Had to install git, cmake, and intltool. Took about 4-5 minutes, and
now hotot is working well".
I have git & cmake installed but..
"No command 'intltool' found, did you mean:
Command 'inteltool' from package 'inteltool' (universe)"

Do I need that or am I missing something in my configs... & am I being a
pain asking! Help! ;)
