This isn't really an Ubuntu question, but I don't believe UEFI is supported
in Virtualbox as yet so it's unlikely that a Windows 8 image will boot. It
looks like the evaluation version of Windows 8 Enterprise will and there's
the cloud edition of 2012 server.
