[ubuntu-uk] Wireless problem in 12.10

Thanks for all your help.
I just managed to solve this using these instructions:

So, prior to setting the system to use the bcmwl-l-kernel-source, i
had to: sudo apt-get install linux-sources
linux-headers-3.5.0-17-generic
Then i enabled the proprietary driver and eveything worked.

There, some people have described getting a better connection through
some further tweaking.
