[ubuntu-uk] Error from update-manager

Still have this problem, so I'm getting no updates, and can't run
software centre. 

apt-get install gives:
Reading package lists... Error!
E: Problem parsing dependency Depends
E: Error occurred while processing libtemplateparser4 (NewVersion2)
E: Problem with
MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/security.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise-security_main_binary-i386_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

Anything else I can try?
