[ubuntu-uk] HUD vs gnome do

I'm hoping to be able to ugrade a machine from the previous LTS to the new LTS this weekend. I'll get the laptop and i hope to be able to meetup with the person to give some guidance.

I have not had time to use HUD much but it seems similar to gnome do. Anything special I should add? This particular user uses ubuntu for music and web-browsing almost exclusively so any HUD commands you would recomend.
