[ubuntu-uk] Steam fears Win8 - proposes Linux

This article on the BBC raised my eyebrows - in a good way.  In short, Steam fear Windows 8 becoming locked-in, I suppose like Apple marketplace and may change platform.  Considering how big a player the Valve owned Steam is, can only be a good thing for Linux distros.  And would their first choice be Ubuntu?
