@Barry: I could not find a relevant bug so have reported it [1].
Could you attach yourself and mark it confirmed?
Are you using unity-2d by any chance. I am but I would not expect
that to be part of the problem.
Is the HUD working ok for you in Nautilus on Quantal? For me it
hardly finds anything. I feel another bug report coming on.
