Ah okay. I used tomboy on windows, mac and linux for a long time, and 
synchronised my notes via Ubuntu One. Works well enough.

There's also an Android app 'TomDroid' which has similar features.

Another option is to just use plain text files in Ubuntu One shared 
folders. That way you can access the files directly on your Ubuntu 
laptop/desktop, and via the Ubuntu One app on android, and via the web 
for any other system. Works very nicely.
