Bugs:
I reported a 'bug' this morning - one which affects the install from
live cd and had not been seen before. It probably relates to the
complexity of my machine arrangement, four hard drives and many OS's.
However, the developer/s will not easily have access to such a
configuration, and if possible a fix would find its way into the
regime in months to come. The bug was 'confirmed' within an hour,
someone else found they had this. Bugs are worth reporting, it is a
continuous process.

Booting:
The information about your experience is so limited in this list that
it is better to handle the details one to one, and my own usual method
of that would be initially using Ubuntu forums, where detailed
responses are commonly available. I might later file a bug if I find
the problem is not mine. (!)

You say you downloaded the iso more than once. Was it the daily build,
or the earlier  beta2? A CD will self check if you allow it. This has
the advantage that the drive is also verified as part of the process.
It would be worth choosing one machine and concentrating on that first.

I have found that today's daily iso runs ok on several machines, but
one a dell inspiron 1300 still needed a particular wifi blacklist
entry to successfully boot, but I know that later, it can be updated
and works well installed.

It is worth persisting if you can. It gets easier.
