Teamviewer has a Linux client that's free to use.

I've played with a product called Echoware from echogent.com which allows
you to run your own remote support server, which has a closed source
shareware packet relay server but otherwise uses VNC and SSH. The server is
shareware ($50 for a perpetual licence) and is easy to set up, so if you
have a business based around remote support it's worth doing, but for casual
support, Teamviewer is free and doesn't have the overhead.
