There is a way of checking to see if the right click is working open a 
Terminal and enter

xev > right-click-debug-output.log

it will bring up a box, right click in the box, then close then go to 
/tmp and you should find the right click debug file, which should show 
you if there is a problem

I hope that works, I got shown once how to do it.......
