Interesting experience. I know when someone asks me for Windows
support my heart sinks because I know it's often a long maze of twisty
corridors. When my mum phones up with a problem on her Ubuntu machine
however, I can almost always fix it in a matter of seconds or minutes
over ssh/vnc.
