The original question was regarding streaming live audio (ie the output
from games, etc) over a network connection to a second device.

I suppose if you could generate an MP3 stream from your application's
audio output then you could pump that through MediaTomb, but as I
understand it MediaTomb is more geared towards static content sharing
over local networks with some funky autodiscovery stuff going on too.
