I'm using a Dell D410 daily, which is still a more than capable small
laptop, 1GB RAM, 40GB HDD, 1.86 Celeron or pentium M, not quite as
small as a netbook but not as big as the monster portable desktops you
regularly see people lugging around. You can pick them up on ebay for
around £130. (http://bit.ly/braoGr). Absolutely no hardware issues
whatsoever with these and Ubuntu, wireless, video, sound etc all work
flawlessly
