You should be able to have it mount by putting in fstab:
/dev/hdb1 /path/to/mountpoint <filesystem> defaults 0 0
the old school way
Obviously, it needs to be the right /dev path. And this assumes that the
filesystems are always the same. (you have to replace <filesystem> with
ext4/vfat/ntfs/whatever)
