[ubuntu-uk] My Desktop's disappeared

I was using Filezilla to download a small config file, which  I was
going to edit and upload. I was scrolling through the pane showing the
local disk, and couldn't see Desktop. The drop-down showed
"/home/Dianne/" so I typed "/home/Dianne/Desktop/" and it told me there
was no such file or folder.

I had Filezilla on one workspace, and Evolution on another - I wasn't
using anything else, although there are things in the panels like Tomboy
running.

Somehow I've deleted that folder, but I don't know how!
