Position: Linux System Administrator

Type: Permanent

Location: London


Our client is looking to hire a Linux System Administrator to take 
charge of their servers.   They have a collection of dedicated and 
virtual machines, mostly running Ubuntu.    Responsibilities will
include backups, data archival, hardware acquisition and trouble 
shooting, network configuration, security and disaster recovery.  The 
ideal candidate would be able to work independently to solve problems 
and automate as much as possible.

You should have experience with:

Linux
Apache
LVM & Raid
Networking
PostgreSQL

Monitoring and automation tools (e.g.: Zenoss, Puppet)

Knowledge of Python would be a definite advantage.

You'll be working closely with a team of programmers with good knowledge 
of Unix, in an environment that values technical expertise.
