Actually this sounds like a bug I remember from a while back. I've had
a quick search on Launchpad but I haven't found the bug I remember
(which is a little annoying) but IIRC it was fixable. It was either
the Launchpad cookie not being set correctly for the OpenID login (so
you need to delete the cookies for launchpad and ubuntuone from
Firefox) or the keyring entry not being updated, so delete the
UbuntuOne token from Accessories, Password and Encryption Keys.
