[ubuntu-uk] Canon iP4600 woes

Colin,
Thanks for answering, the printer is brand new and has only printed about 10 pages. I bought my mum a new pc (and put Ubuntu on it) and a new canon printer, to be honest I don't think it's the cartridges. It's a good point and something that is often missed (especially with my mum!) Thanks.
