[ubuntu-uk] ubuntu tethering

ok so heres what i entered:

wireless settings

ssid: name
mode: infrastructure
bssid:
mac address:
Mtu: auto


ipv4
method: auto (dhcp)
dhcp client id:

ipv6
method: ignore

wireless security:
security wpa & wpa2 personal
password: *********

so where am i going wrong?
