Mmm...  Well, I've tried the Bindwood / Ubuntu One method.  It's still 
beta, of course;  but it's a bit slow and clunky as yet (I have a lot of 
bookmarks!).  The main problem is that it makes Firefox open very slowly 
- FF greys out for ages while the app does what it does, and you get 
time to make a strong cup of tea.

So I think I'll wait a bit for syncing via Ubuntu One or Weave to be a 
bit further on.  But these developments are very promising, aren't they?
