Have upgraded to Karmic again, and have same problems as when I used the beta, namely :- a. no sound - shows "Dummy Output" on mixer b. no glidepad on laptop c. report of impending hard drive failure, despite other utility (not sure of name) showing it is fine (c) I can cope with. Pointers to fix (a) and (b) gratefully received. Best, Sean
